Every day of the week from 12:00 to 22:00 in the night.  

Reden offers:

-          Solicitude and one-on-one talks  

-          Counselling and guidance

-           Extradition of tools, condoms, and lube.

-          A bath, washing of clothes, free meals, coffee, fruit, etc.

-          Staff help/attendance at meetings with social/public authorities

-          Visitation in hospital, treatment facilities, prison, or at home

-          Creative activities, out-of-house field trips, etc.

-          Much more

Women of all nationalities should feel welcome at Reden Aarhus. The women often have problems such as substance abuse, psychiatric disorders, a lack of a social network, prostitution, health issues, and a lack of education and job experience. Furthermore, many have endured multiple treatments or prison stays. Often, the females have no regular contact with their families or even their children, and their everyday life is suffering under the fact that the women lack network, structure, stability, and predictability.

At Reden Aarhus we wish to help the women find the strength to deal with and master their own life. The staff is at the disposal for the women without the requirement of change or instant recovery. The staff only has the hope that the woman in hand will start using the resources she has to better herself and minimize the damages of her rough way of life. In that spirit, Reden Aarhus hands out things such as needles and condoms to help prevent STDs, infections and pregnancies. Reden Aarhus serves nutritious and free meals, and during the night we offer a clean bed to sleep in.

We at Reden believe in showing care for and interest in the lives and history of the women. By using time to develop a relation, being together, having talks, and doing activities together, our experience tells us that the women will slowly build up a feeling that they are worthy of the care and help that is available to them. We believe that social interaction and celebration of holidays and birthdays help bring a sense of community to the women. This community will give the women a stronger feeling of self-worth and more positive outlook on life.
